Public Notice USDA Section 533 2021 Housing Preservation Grant (HPG) Statement of Activities for Public Review Habitat for Humanity Hawaii Island, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, is submitting a proposal to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Housing Services for the 2021 Housing Preservation Grant (HPG) Funds. Habitat Hawaii Island will use funds to perform critical home repairs, remove health or safety barriers, and/or to improve accessibility for a family member with a disability. This program will be available to homeowners in USDA designated rural areas of Hawai’i Island, which is the entire county with the exception of Hilo. The proposed 2021 program is described in the 2021 Housing Preservation Grant Statement of Activities which is available for public review from July 2nd 2021 through July 17th, 2021 at the any of the three Hawai’i Island Habitat Restores Kona, Hilo, or Waimea.
