PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that each parcel of real property described below, all in the County of Hawai’i, Improvement District Nos. 18,19 & 20, State of Hawai’i, is delinquent in the payment of installments for improvement district assessment liens. The real property is situated in the subdivisions known as Kona Coastview, Kona Wonder View & Kona Ocean View Properties & Lono Kona. Because of the failure to pay said assessment installments, such parcels will be sold by me at a foreclosure without suit as provided in Sections 12-38 through 12-43, Article 3, Chapter 12 Hawai’i County Code. Sale will be to the highest bidder at or in excess of the total upset price of each parcel for cash, certified check, cashier’s check, traveler’s check and/or money order at a public auction to be held at the County’s West Hawai’i Civic Center, Building A, County Council Chambers at 75-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i 96740 on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. PERSONS BIDDING AT THE AUCTION AS REPRESENTATIVES OR AGENTS OF OTHERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRESENT NOTARIZED DOCUMENTS SHOWING SUCH AUTHORIZATION TO BID ON BEHALF OF THOSE PARTIES THEY REPRESENT.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that all sales are subject to the defaulting owner’s right of redemption within one year from the date of sale, or if the foreclosure deed is not recorded within sixty days after the sale, then such redemption right shall extend to within one year from the date of recording of the deed, all as provided in Section 12-40, Article 3, Chapter 12, Hawai’i County Code, the redemption amount shall include the amount paid by the purchaser, together with all costs and expenses which the purchaser was required to pay, including the fee for recording the deed, and in addition thereto, interest on such amount at the rate of twelve percent (12%) a year, but in case of redemption more than one year after date of sale by reason of extension of the redemption period on account of late recording of the foreclosure deed, interest shall be added for the extended redemption period.
