CARL MAUI NAMAHOE November 9, 1947 ~ August 4, 2023 Carl Maui Namahoe, age 75, passed away on August 4, 2023, with his wife and family lovingly by his side in person and by phone. Born November 9, 1947, to William and Catherine Namahoe, Carl lived his favorite years in Papakolea and Punalu’u, Oahu, Hawaii, with five siblings. Carl accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in June 1980, and went on to obtain his pastoral license at World Reaching Faith School of Training, Ventura, California. God fulfilled Carl’s dream to retire in Hawaii in June 2012, and to serve God was fulfilled when God called him to serve as senior pastor of Calvary Chapel West Hawaii from October 2017 until the Lord welcomed him home. Carl is survived by his bride of fifty-three years, Keala Reimann; their children: Kanoelani, Kawehi (Tyshia), and Maui (Brandi); their grandchildren: Kiaha (Savannah), Kawai (Zachary) and Sanoe; and their great grandchildren Kalei and Kahaku.
