GERALD PAUL CARVALHO Beloved Husband, Father, and Papa. Gerald, age of 72, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at his home in Waimea, Hawai’i. He was born on March 3, 1951, in Honoka’a, Hawai’i. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Carvalho Sr and Mary Jane Carvalho and brothers Albert Carvalho Jr and Timothy Carvalho. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Kay Carvalho; children: Chad Carvalho of Waimea, Tammie (Arnold) Akau of Kawaihae, Andrew Carvalho (Sunny Collo) of Waimea, Jeremy Carvalho (Huali Alpiche) of Waimea; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Brother Derrick (Melody) Carvalho of Napo’opo’o, and sister-in-law Dinah Welch-Carvalho of Hau’ula. A Celebration of Life will be held at Waimea Annunciation Catholic Church on Saturday, January 13, 2024. Visitation: 8:30 a.m.; Eulogy: 9:30 a.m.; Mass: 10:00 a.m. All are invited to the Carvalho Residence in Waimea at 12 noon for Lunch, Music, and Fellowship.
