Notice to medical providers, labor unions, and private individuals. The Hawaii Department of Health, Hawaii District Health Office intends to solicit assistance from the Department of Defense’s Innovative Readiness Training Program. The assistance will provide medically underserved Hawaii residents with access to no-cost services to include medical exams, optometry, dental, veterinary, and behavioral health services. The proposed assistance will take place on the Island of Hawaii and may include public schools, non-profit organizations, and other community sites in Spring/Summer 2025. or wish to voice opposition to military assistance
for this project may contact John Kolman, Hawaii District Health Officer, at 808-974-6002 or john.kolman@doh.hawaii.gov no later than 30 days after publication of this notice. Failure to file comments within the timeframe noted will be considered an effective waiver of objections to military assistance for this project.
