NA’ALEHU WASTEWATER PUBLIC
MEETING AND
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD

The County of Hawai’i Department of Environmental Management announces the availability of the Draft Environmental Information Document (EID) and public comment period regarding the closure of the large capacity cesspools in Na’alehu.
The County is accepting comment on its tentative identification of a package wastewater treatment plant with new collection system as the preferred option. The Draft EID is available at the Na’alehu Public Library and at:
www.dem.hawaiicounty.gov/projects
