The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) administers the Project-Based Voucher Program with federal funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and provides rental assistance to very-low-income families. Na Hale Makoa is awarded 30 Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Units Occupancy for 30 units anticipated in February 2026. OHCD determines eligibility for the Project-Based Voucher (PBV) program based on the total gross income and family size. Eligibility is also limited to US citizens and specific categories of non-citizens with eligible immigration status.
