Pursuant to Hawaii County Code, Sections 2-115 and 2-116, the County of Hawaii hereby provides public notice that it intends to exchange 4.6 acres of County property in exchange for 6.2 acres of private property. The properties to be exchanged are in Honomu, South Hilo, Hawaii and the purpose of the exchange is to align Wailele Road and ensure public access to the Hilo Forest Reserve.
