COUNTY OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS ENGINEERING DIVISION WAILUKU BRIDGE #1 RAILING REPAIR JOB NO. E-4805 NOTICE TO MOTORISTS&PUBLIC Beginning Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Bridge closure and construction repairs will begin for the County of Hawaii Department of Public Works Engineering Division. The project work will consist of structural rehabilitation and repairs of the impact damaged bridge railing and superstructure The construction work and repairs are expected to be completed on March 23, 2026. Bridge Closure will be 24-Hours daily due to equipment needed on the roadway to perform the repairs, Monday through Friday including Weekends and Holidays. Residents should expect some noise associated with the construction and repair activities. Motorists in the area shall use caution and observe and obey all traffic controls and posted detour signs while driving near the construction work zone area. Please allow additional travel time in anticipation of these delays.
