FRANCES FRAN J. HAO Frances J Hao (age 87) passed away peacefully at Brookdale Senior Living in Las Vegas surrounded by her children. Fran was born in Oakland, California and lived for many years on the Island of Hawaii before moving to Las Vegas with her husband, Elvin K Hao. She is survived by her beloved sister, Sylvia Brosamer (Steve), by six of her children, Terri Romero, Bryan Hao (Stephen), Cindy Ulrich (Don), Jennifer Kaawaloa (Guy), Naomi Hao, and Kahea Maggio-Hao (Ryan), eighteen grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren in California, Oregon, Washington, Oklahoma, and Nevada. Fran was predeceased by her husband Elvin and daughter Maggie. She will be remembered for her smile, kind and welcoming manner, and unquenchable love of children and animals. A mass will be held on July 7th at 10:00 am at the Kawaihae Canoe Club with friends and family. Commitment of her ashes as well as her husband’s will be scattered in Kiholo Bay, Hawaii on September 5th.
