CODE ยง7811] Free from the Custody Date: 7/30/24 and Control of CAITLIN Dept: 124 DEON WOLLMAN Time: 1:30 pm and DURRELL JUSTIN CHAMBERS THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA To CAITLIN DEON WOLLMAN and DURRELL JUSTIN CHAMBERS: By order of this court you are hereby advised that you may appear in Department 124 of this court located at 3341 Power Inn Road, Sacramento, CA 95826, on July 30TH, 2024 p.m., then and there to show cause, if any you have, why VIOLET ANTOINETT CHAMBERS should not be declared free from your custody and control for the purpose of freeing her for placement for adoption. The following information concerns rights and procedures that relate to this proceeding for the termination of custody and control of VIOLET ANTOINETTE CHAMBERS as set forth in Family Code Sections 7860 through 7864: 1. At the beginning of the proceeding the court will consider whether or not the interests of VIOLET ANTOINETTE CHAMBERS require the appointment of counsel. If the court finds that her interests do require protection, the court will appoint counsel to represent her, whether or not she is able to afford counsel. VIOLET ANTOINETTE CHAMBERS will not be present in court unless she requests or the court so orders. 2. If you appear without counsel and are unable to afford counsel, the court must appoint counsel for you, unless you knowingly and intelligently waive the right to be represented by counsel. The court will not appoint the same counsel to represent both you and your child VIOLET ANTOINETTE CHAMBERS. 3. If the court appoints counsel for you, at the end of the proceeding, the court will hold a hearing to determine the amount, if any, that you will be required to reimburse the count for the services of your appointed counsel. 4. The court may continue the proceeding for not more than 30 days as necessary to appoint counsel and to enable counsel to become acquainted with the case.
