NOTICE TO ALL COUNTY RESIDENTS CLOSURES&NEW HOURS Miloli’i Transfer Station Final Closure January 22, 2022 and Oceanview Transfer Station New Hours of Operation Hawai’i State law now prohibits waste or disposal facilities, such as transfer stations, from being located and operating in a conservation district. The new law and the expiration of the Department of Health Permit to operate the transfer station requires the permanent closure of the Miloli’i Transfer Station. The Department of Environmental Management will modify days of operations at Oceanview Transfer Station to allow community more variety in days available for service effective January 24, 2022: Oceanview Transfer Station, 92-9017 Mamalahoa Hwy Tuesday, Friday, Sunday – from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Waiea Transfer Station, 86-3895 Hawai’i Belt Road Monday, Thursday, Saturday – from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We respectfully ask for your kokua.
